Spring has finally sprung and Easter is here. That means it’s time for a good old spring cleaning before you freshen up your home decor with some spring and Easter inspired home decorations. This time of year can be ideal for sprucing up your home with a new color palette or new design scheme and there are plenty of spring festivals and Easter events in Utah to help inspire you.
Thanksgiving Point in Lehi is the place to be this Easter, with an Easter egg hunt and an Easter Bunny Breakfast taking place on April 20th. Easter egg hunts will be taking place every half hour from 10:30 am till 1 pm so there should be plenty of opportunities for your kids to find the goodies. As well as the Easter activities, there will be other fun activities, including riding the cow train and face painting. And don’t forget to look out for the Easter Bunny while you’re there.
St. George Art Festival
The southwestern Utah city of St. George plays host to the 40th Annual St. George Art Festival on April 19th and 20th this year. Thousands of residents and visitors will converge on the beautiful Town Square for this fun festival that showcases original works of art from over 110 artists, as well as live entertainment and an array of different foods. There will be thousands of pieces of art on display, so you could even find that perfect piece to add to your home decor. There’s also a splash pad and a carousel to entertain kids and pretty water features and flower gardens for relaxing.
Gardner Village in West Jordan can be a great place to get in the spring mood. From Easter home decor to Easter fashion and Easter treats, there is plenty on offer for the whole family. And don’t forget to pay a visit to The Farm to see the new spring arrivals of baby animals, including chicks, ducklings, bunnies and a spring lamb.
The Tabernacle Choir 2019 Easter Concert
The world renowned Tabernacle Choir will be presenting their 2019 Easter Concert at the Tabernacle on Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City. This free event will take place on April 19th and 20th and will begin at 7:30 pm. Although it’s free, tickets are required and guests are asked to be in their seats by 7 pm. This is a fantastic concert with the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra and is a superb way to kick-start your Easter celebrations.
Easter Dog Bone Hunt 2019
Don’t let your furry family members miss out on the Easter fun. The Easter Dog Bone Hunt at the Wheeler Historic Farm is the perfect opportunity to let your pet dogs get in on the Easter action, with bone filled Easter eggs for them to sniff out and plenty of goodies on offer on April 18th. There will also be an Easter egg hunt for children on April 20th, as well as wagon rides, house tours, milking demonstrations and the Easter Bunny will be making an appearance.
