Spring is when we all like to clean out our homes and refresh our home decor. And this May there are plenty of events going on in Utah where you can find inspiration and buy beautiful home decorations to transform your house into your perfect home.
Scandinavian Festival
This Memorial Day Weekend (May 24th and 25th), take a family trip down to Ephraim, Utah for the annual Scandinavian Festival. This exciting weekend festival features Scandinavian art, crafts and homewares, so it can be a fantastic place to pick up a few home decor pieces if you’re after that sought-after and stylish Scandi look in your home. As well as booths with various Scandinavian products, there will be food, a 5K race, concerts, a quilt show and lots of other interesting events to celebrate Scandinavian heritage in Utah.
Ogden Summer Home Show
If you’re looking for Utah homebuilders or if you’re ready to take on a remodeling project, the Ogden Summer Home Show might just be the place to be. Taking place at the Golden Spike Event Center in Ogden, UT, on May 17th through 19th, this event can let you check out the latest technology for your home, as well as give you tips for home decor and renovations. There will be both local and national vendors at the show, so you can get great advice from experts, whether you’re looking for home improvement ideas or ways to transform your outdoor space into a tranquil living area in time for summer.
Big Bodacious Spring Expo 2019
The 7th annual Big Bodacious Spring Expo will be taking place this Mother’s Day Weekend on May 10th and May 11th at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds in Spanish Fork, UT. With lots of booths and vendors offering everything from food and crafts to home decor and jewelry, there should be plenty of opportunities to find the right pieces for your home or even a special Mother’s Day gift. There will be vendors from all over the country, including local Utah vendors.
Arts and Crafts Festival
Draper City’s Arts and Crafts Festival will be taking place on May 11th 2019 in Draper Park and can be a fantastic place to find a unique gift for Mother’s Day. Each booth will feature handmade items, including jewelry, soaps, accessories, clothing and, of course, home decor and fine art. As well as being able to find handcrafted home decorations, there will also be a Classic Car Show to keep the rest of the family interested. The festival will feature live entertainment and can make a fun day out for your whole family.
Spring Salon
If you’re looking for a unique piece of local art to add some local color to your home decor then the the 95th annual Spring Salon might be worth a visit. Taking place at the Springville Museum of Art in Springville, UT between April 24th and July 6th, the salon gives local Utah artists a chance to showcase their works of art. The art is available for sale, so it can be a good opportunity to pick up a fantastic original piece of art direct from the artist.
